Danke! Das Spiel hats auch verdient.

Hab paar Fragen zum Contest:

"dürfen keine Aristokraten ihre Häuser verlassen"
Was heißt das?

Was heißt das jetzt genau?

:hauwech:

The translations that I've done of the rules for the contest are very confusing, as always :aua: Thank goodness we have have two months for me to figure out the confusion!

My first question, of many I'm sure, is what are we supposed to do if one of the opponents offers to sell me a ship? Can I buy it? Can I keep it?

Hi.
You can´t buy because the settings allows only one ship.
If you try to build a ship a voice says "you have the max nombers of ships"
omg my english sucks ._.
if you want to build a better ship you have first to destroy your own.

Hello Albertus, nice to meet you!

Thank You for the reply but I'm affraid you are wrong about not being able to purchase ships. Anytime an opponent offers to sell a ship, you CAN buy, my question is, are we ALLOWED to buy and use that ship in this contest. The normal ship limit in most scenarios is either 20 or 33 but in one "The Continent" playing I was able to build a fleet of over 100 ships by buying from the CGs after building my own 33 ships. By the way your English is 1000% better than my German :D

I´m sorry but you are not allowed to buy ships. I forgot to mention this in the contest rules.

Pelsen -50t Kakao
Monte Carlo +50t Kakao

Alles klar?

Das gleiche nochmal auf Englisch...

Here is an example how to write down your individual trading route. For example, cacao is produced in the town Pelsen, however, you need cacao in Monte carlo, so you write down:

Pelsen -50t cacao
Monte Carlo +50t cacao

So 50t cacao are shipped from Pelsen to Monte Carlo.

P.S.: Sorry for my bad English, but I hope, you will understand it...

OK, as usual I am very confused :aua:

According to Sir Henry's goal editor this scenario will close after building one city of 500 aristocrats, defeat all three opponents and also the pirates and your balance reaches 600. This much I understand, I must keep one of these goals from being reached until the end.

Here is the English translation I get from babel fish regarding how the winner is determined:
"Won, who achieves the highest point number. The number of killed soldiers, the height of the balance in Talern, which number of the monuments and those the Aristokraten adds on all islands, becomes simple."

This may all seem simple in the original German text but I am affraid the translation is anything but simple.

Do I need to have aristocrats on all five islands?
How many points are awarded for each killed soldier?
How many points are awarded for each monument?
How many points are awarded for higher levels of balance?

I can kill alot of soldiers, I can earn alot of monuments, I can build and supply cities as well as many others but what I don't know is how to play this contest scenario!

Any clarification that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated

And here the rules in english:

1. Category: Military
You need to kill as many enemy soldiers as possible. How many of your own soldiers die, doesn´t matter.

2. Category: Economic
Showing your economics skills and to ensure optimal balance, without that your citizens will leave. Furthermore, you should ensure the maximum satisfaction of your people, the number of your statues will be crucial here.

3. Category: Planning
Give as many aristocrats, in any way possible, a new home.
But the aristocrats shouldn´t leave their homes.

The winner is, who achieved the highest score. These are simply the number of soldiers killed, the amount of the balance in crowns, the number of monuments and the aristocrats are added on all of your islands.

Please have fun and all members good luck!

Thank You for the fast response!

Do I understand correctly, are the totals from all four catagories equal?

1000 killed soldiers
1000 monuments
1000 aristocrats
1000 balance
___________

4000 points?

Must I have aristocrats on all five islands?

@Dread Pirate Terry :

Honestly I think so... (about the points)

No, you can but don´t need on all five Islands aristocrats.

Zitat:

One island at least 500 Aris, but on every island at least 200 aris

So I think we are supposed to have Aris on every island.

Eldorado should tell us what is right.

And, additional, what will happen if one Aris house goes back to a merchant house during his testing? Do I loose the whole game?

Adding the points as terry did show, I think is correct.

Hi,

I hope I can answer your questions...

1. You have to have at least 200 aris on every island and on one island at least 500 aris. During testing, aris are not allowed to go back to merchant houses and the number of aris must stay for a long time, otherwhise the contest is lost.
2. Points: Adding the points as terry did is correct. You get a point for every dead hostile soldier, for every monument, for every aristokrat und for every point of your balance.

If you have other questions or if you didn´t understand what I mean, feel free to ask.
