Moin, Moin!

Dachte mir, dass es vielleicht mal ganz witzig wäre, 'nen kleinen Wettbewerb auszurufen: Bomi's Endless Contest 2004. Dazu habe ich ein kleines Endlosspiel "Rauher Norden" gebastelt. Ziel ist es, in dieser Inselwelt mit den zur Verfügung stehenden Ressorucen möglichst vielen Kaufleuten UND Aristokraten eine Heimat zu schaffen...

Hi, everybody!

Thought that it could be fun to call for a little contest: Bomi's Endless Contest 2004. I've created a little endless game for it, called "The Rough North". Your assignment on these islands will be to give a home to as many merchants AND aristocrats as possible with the available resources...

Je me suis dit qu'il fairait peut-être plaisir de vous appeler à un petit concours: Bomi's Endless Contest 2004. Pour cela j'ai fabriqué un petit jeu sans fin, appelé "Le Nord aride". Son but est de faire habiter ce monde par autant de marchands ET aristocrats que possible avec les ressources disponibles...

Oui, Super idée!

Just a few questions: if i've well understand, we should try to get the same number of merchants and aristocrats? Can we build more than one city?
And what a great map! I love the islands you put inside!

1. Thanks a bunch, glad to hear that all the people love this simple idea ;)
2. Yes, the trick would be to use the avaiable ressources as well balanced as possible to settle as much merchants and aristocrats as possible...
3. Yeep, you can build as much cities as you like, what counts is the overall amount of merchants and aristocrats...
4. It toke me some time to find the right islands and a lot of testing to balance the ressources the right way, but i guess (and hope) i've found the right mix...

I'm really excited to see what the people are able to put in there :D

Ich find das nix Besonderes - wir wollen doch alle nur 'n büschen Fun mit 1503 bis 1404 kommt - und dazu werden halt alle Leute gemäß ihren Fähigkeiten zielgerichtet verbraten :D

I simply copied text & codes from the message to the ANNOPool description field, thought that both will go through the same display engine - i guess you can pull out the IMG tags and URLs for the flags 'cause the parts are close enough to each other, so everyone will quickly find the language he needs...
